Everything guests need for a comfortable stay at The Linden House, including smart-lock access, parking, the loft layout, house rules, trash, and checkout.
Welcome to The Linden House, our West Plaza home with old-house character, modern comforts, and a layout that is a little more interesting than a rectangle. These notes cover the details that make arrival, your stay, and checkout easier.
If something does not seem right, please message us right away through your booking platform. Most problems are much easier to solve while you are still here, and we genuinely want the opportunity to help.
Early check-in and late checkout are available only when arranged in advance, approved, and purchased as an upsell. Your access code follows the confirmed reservation times.
The front door is the guest entrance. Your unique access code is included in your check-in message and works only during your reservation.
To unlock the door:
If the lock seems stuck, close the door completely, enter the code again, press the check mark, and give the lock time to finish. Please do not pull or push the door while the lock is moving.
Free street parking is available for up to two vehicles. Please park legally, leave room for neighbors, and avoid blocking driveways, sidewalks, hydrants, or access points.
The side drive is not available for guest use.
The Linden is an older home with both exterior and interior stairs. The upstairs suite is an open loft and does not have a bedroom door. It is charming, airy, and worth knowing before someone claims the room expecting a private hallway.
The Wi-Fi information is included with your arrival details rather than posted publicly. The television is a smart TV; please use your own streaming accounts and remember to sign out before checkout.
The Linden House has central heating and air conditioning. Because warm air rises, the upstairs loft may feel a little warmer than the main floor. Please keep exterior doors and windows closed while the system is running. If the temperature is uncomfortable or the system does not seem to be responding, send us a message and we’ll be happy to help.
The kitchen includes an LG refrigerator, stove, and oven. There is no garbage disposal.
Please scrape food into the trash before rinsing dishes. Do not put food scraps, coffee grounds, grease, or oil down the drain. Start the dishwasher before checkout.
A washer and dryer are available for guest use. Before checkout, please wash the used towels. Starting the load is perfectly fine; our cleaners can finish the drying and folding.
Please do not strip the beds. Leave the bedding in place so our cleaners can check and sort everything efficiently.
Please bag all household trash and place it in the street-side bins. Trash collection is Monday, or Tuesday following a holiday.
We know accidents happen, and ordinary wear and tear is part of hosting. Additional charges apply only when a house rule is significantly violated or extra cleaning, repairs, or remediation are required. Examples include unauthorized parties or guests, pets, smoking, equipment tampering, lock damage, or cleaning beyond a normal turnover. The applicable amounts are included in the rental agreement.
The Linden House is for registered overnight guests only. No parties, events, gatherings, or unregistered visitors are permitted.
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–8:00 AM. Please keep voices, music, and outdoor activity low enough that our neighbors can enjoy their homes too.
No pets are permitted at The Linden House, including visiting pets.
Smoking, vaping, and candles are not permitted anywhere inside the home.
Exterior security cameras are located at the home’s entry points. They record motion outdoors only. There are no cameras inside the home.
Please do not disable, cover, unplug, or otherwise tamper with the security cameras or other house equipment.

If something is not working, you are unsure how to operate something, or you notice anything that needs attention, please message us right away through your booking platform. Please do not wait until checkout or your review to tell us; we would much rather help while you can still enjoy the fix.
