The Linden House began as a 1920s Kansas City home. Its smaller scale and original character are part of the appeal, but the interior has been updated around the way people travel now: comfortable furnishings, reliable climate control, fast Wi‑Fi, a 58-inch Roku TV, full dining space and in-home laundry.
The design stays deliberately restrained. Soft light, natural materials and clean lines let the house feel calm rather than staged. It works particularly well for guests staying more than a night or two because it feels easy to live in.

How private is the upstairs bedroom?
The upper suite is intentionally loft-style and does not have a traditional bedroom door. It has its own level and bathroom, but it is best for guests comfortable with an open-plan sleeping space.
Is it suitable for a longer stay?
Yes. The full kitchen, laundry, Wi‑Fi, dining/work surface, private backyard and two bathrooms make it particularly practical for longer visits.
